Project Coordinator
You are a Project Coordinator with 5 years of experience in construction projects and completed
at least one concrete multi-family building. As an integral part of the project team, you will be
responsible for planning, coordinating and executing project plans under the supervision of
the Project Manager and operations staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist in plan and specification analysis to coordinate and provide clear interpretation of design
drawings for construction
· Assist the Project Manager in drafting and issuance of tenders, project proposals, budgets, cash
flows and preliminary schedules
· Act as a liaison with subcontractors; expediting drawings, shop drawings and related
information
· Maintain accurate and up to date RFI , submittal and change order logs
· track responses & advise Project Manager and Site Superintendent of the status of RFIs
· Conduct quality control activities in accordance with Cascadia company practices
· Prepare material take off
· Ability to run trades meeting
· Assist Project Manager and Site superintended intendeds in reviewing and verifying change
orders
· Coordinate submittals and procure all close-out documents including warranties and operating
maintenance manuals
· Attend project site visits and be familiar with site progress
· Monitor field work and the project quality plan to ensure compliance with Cascadia building
standards, procedures, specifications and codes
· Perform document control functions in accordance with on-site policy and procedures
· Coordinate periodic photographs for relevant records
· Assist PM in enforcing contracts wit the subcontractors
· Liaise with Accounting department on invoice inquires and monthly cost reports
Project Coordinator
· Take and distribute meeting minutes and follow up on action items
· Inform Project Manager and other required parties about project status and issues that may
impact client relations
· Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude
– set the standards for professionalism
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator in concrete multifamily construction
is required.
· BCIT Construction Program Management Diploma preferred
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project with the ability to
learn new programs when required
· Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal with the ability to
interpret needs and express ideas clearly
· Organized, multitasker with the ability to set and manage priorities
· Exceptional time management skills
· Willing to travel to different jobsites in Lower mainland
· Demonstrated ability to handle pressure situations in a professional manner
· Problem-solving and analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to work under pressure in
professional manner
